Make one practical STL.

Describe one utility part. Add sizes if you know them. Generate, review, and download a checked STL.

Plain English is fine. One object works best; add rough sizes if you know them.

Free beta · one STL at a time · not for load-bearing or safety-critical use.

After generation: review preview, size, and print note; then download, edit, or make a variant. Stopped prompts show no download.

Part type tray, hook, label, stand, bracket, or cable organizer

Use quantity, fit, label text, slots, or mounting need

Good fit practical organizers, labels, hooks, stands, brackets, clips, and trays

Will stop safely scans, exact replacements, load-bearing hardware, or safety-critical parts

1. Describe one practical part and the fit you need

2. Review preview, size, and print note on the result page

3. Choose download, edit sizes, or make a variant

Prompt recipe

Copy this shape: make a [part type] for [use], about [size in mm], with [count, text, slots, holes, or fit detail].

Use one practical part at a time. DriftLoom will ask you to simplify or choose a safer supported part if the request is outside scope.

What to measure

Start with the real thing you are organizing, labeling, holding, or clipping. One rough measurement is better than guessing.

  • Tray or organizeroutside width and depth, rough height, compartment count
  • Label or signtext, plate size, and whether you need mounting holes
  • Cable clipcable diameter, slot count, and desk-edge or flat use
  • Stand or bracketdevice or shelf size plus the angle or mounting need
Starters and supported types

Try a starter

Pick one, then edit it.

Start from a type

Choose a concrete object type with a sample prompt and the details DriftLoom can use.

Preview for Tray starterUse starter: TrayCompartments for screws, desk items, or workshop pieces. Example: make a tray 120 by 80 by 18 mm with 3 by 2 compartmentsObject guide

Preview for Hook starterUse starter: HookLight-duty key or cable hooks with print warnings. Example: make me a wall hook for keysObject guide

Preview for Cable organizer starterUse starter: Cable organizerCable count, cable size, and slot spacing. Example: make a cable organizer for six ethernet cablesObject guide

Preview for Stand starterUse starter: StandPhone or tablet stands with base, back, and lip sizes. Example: make a phone stand for a thick caseObject guide

Preview for Nameplate starterUse starter: NameplateShort raised-text labels with printable plate sizes. Example: make a 70 by 25 mm nameplate that says GARAGEObject guide

All supported object types

Use these shortcuts when you already know the part type, or just name it in your prompt.

Best prompt: one object, rough size, quantity, and use. Avoid load-rated or safety-critical parts.

How it works

Write one practical request

Pick a supported type and give key sizes. “Cable organizer, 6 slots, 8 mm cables, 18 mm spacing” beats vague requests.

Review the size and settings

DriftLoom applies conservative limits and blocks risky requests before creating the file.

Download and inspect

Download the checked 3D-printable STL file, inspect it in your slicer, and test print before relying on fit or durability.

Need a more structured start?

Open an object guide from the starter drawer for size controls, safe defaults, and example prompts. Studio still checks the final request before making the file.

What is not supported yet

DriftLoom can make utility objects like trays, nameplates, hooks, cable organizers, stands, and brackets. It cannot make photo, video, or scan-to-STL reconstruction yet. Exact replacement, load-rated, medical, vehicle, electrical, child-safety, weapon, upload, and open-ended requests are out of scope.

How to rewrite a blocked prompt

To recover, pick one supported object type, add sizes in millimeters, keep it non-safety-critical, and review warnings before printing. Example: a 70 mm cable clip with 4 slots and 3 mm walls. See what DriftLoom can make instead or browse supported examples.
