What DriftLoom Studio can generate
Short answer: DriftLoom Studio turns plain-English prompts for supported practical utility objects into validated STL files. It is not a CAD replacement and does not reconstruct arbitrary objects from casual photos or videos.
Supported families
Custom STL nameplates
Generate printable custom nameplates with text, safe plate dimensions, and STL validation.
Parametric trays and organizers
Generate custom STL trays and compartment organizers with bounded dimensions and practical defaults.
Wall hook STL generator
Generate simple printable wall hooks for keys, cables, and light utility storage.
Custom bracket STL generator
Generate printable shelf and utility brackets with holes, gussets, and bounded duty presets.
Phone and tablet stand STLs
Generate practical phone and tablet stands with printable angles and slot dimensions.
Cable organizer STL generator
Generate printable cable combs and organizers for common cable counts and diameters.
Spacers and risers STL generator
Generate simple spacers, standoffs, and risers with dimensions in millimeters.
Socket and lug holder STLs
Generate pocket-style holders for sockets, lug nuts, and small cylindrical items.
Cupholder STL generator
Generate printable cupholders with drain holes, base options, and bounded wall dimensions.
Can AI make STL files?
Yes, for constrained object families with bounded dimensions and validation. DriftLoom uses deterministic generation for the MVP so printable utility-object behavior stays auditable and repeatable.
What is not supported?
Arbitrary video/photo-to-perfect-CAD reconstruction, safety-certified load-bearing parts, medical/regulatory parts, and unrestricted uploads are intentionally outside the public MVP.
How should I use the result?
Inspect every model, choose sensible print settings, and test before use. You are responsible for printer/material suitability and real-world safety.
