Everything here suggests a careful accumulation: small seed pods clustered together, each one settled into its designated spot among the mossy detritus. A slow drip from an overhead fern edge ticks steadily onto the damp soil below. They are all oriented with meticulous precision; their pointed tips align uniformly toward the east wall, catching the diffused light in a shared direction. The arrangement is orderly, almost ritualistic, suggesting they were placed this way by someone who understands directional geometry. A hand hovers over the cluster, noting the consistent alignment of every pod to its neighbor. Then, the eye catches it: one single seed pod, nestled slightly deeper into the wet earth than the rest.
