What DriftLoom can and cannot generate
Short answer: DriftLoom can generate bounded utility-object STLs; it cannot reconstruct arbitrary objects from photos/videos or certify mechanical safety.
Supported today
The public MVP focuses on nameplates, trays, organizers, wall hooks, brackets, stands, cable organizers, spacers, socket/lug holders, and cupholders.
Good prompts include a supported family, useful dimensions in millimeters, and simple options such as holes, compartments, labels, or drain holes.
Not supported
Arbitrary photo-to-STL, video-to-STL, CAD-grade replacement-part reconstruction, medical/regulatory parts, and safety-critical load-bearing hardware are outside the MVP scope.
When a request is ambiguous or outside the supported families, DriftLoom should ask for clearer input or stop safely before creating a misleading STL.
Next step
Rewrite unsupported ideas as one bounded utility object with millimeter dimensions, or use a dedicated CAD workflow.
